For dropouts of female students:
The most difficult part is to understand the attitude of the parents and to teach them the importance of education especially for Girls. To make this possible, we can take the help of Gram Panchayat or other communist. With the help of Gram Panchayat, we can organize literacy programs. Through video presentation and easy communication language which they speak, we can endeavour to make them realize or even visualize the need of education.
We can take help of some celebrities like, Saina Nehwal, Mary Kom or Sania Mirza who allcan encourage the parents to adopt new attitude.
We can take help of NGOs who all work for women empowerment.
Removal of women's illiteracy, major emphasis will be laid on women's participation in vocational, technical and professional education at different levels.

ReplyDeleteThere is a stigma attached to victims of sexual abuse, which is prevalent in all strata of Indian society in both rural and urban areas. Parents, especially in rural areas therefore, fear sending their girls to schools. Thus efforts must be taken to provide for safe mode of transport of all female students, to and from their home and school. The school could hire a vehicle and have a lady teacher accompany the students as they are picked up and dropped from home and school.
Variety of Courses :
Schools should make it a point to introduce a variety of Vocational courses, such as knitting/weaving/tailoring/baking. These courses are skill based and will thus enable female students to use such acquired skills to contribute to their family income.
nicely written article.The reason behind female dropout could be their family financial problems or lack of safety feeling among female students.we must ensure that their is safe mode of transport of female students.we should try to contact with their family members to know the reason behind dropout and try to solve these problem.
